Injury Rehabilitation

We’ve partnered with a qualified physiotherapist and a sports injury clinic to offer injury rehabilitation for muscular injuries sustained during rescues or training. All team members and trainees are entitled to a free assessment and treatment by one of two local treatment providers.

To qualify:

• The muscular injury must be sustained during training or a rescue;

• The accident book which is located within the treasurers’ pigeonhole in base has to be completed within 24 hours of the witnessed incident; and

• The accident form should be countersigned by a member of the leadership group if possible.

After the initial assessment of the injury by the clinician and a plan being put in place for recovery, the costs will be sent directly to LAMRT for settlement.
