Upon becoming a full team member you will be issued with  a range of team clothing and equipment.  The clothing and equipment is reviewed on a 3 yearly basis and so is subject to change and availability.

Bottles of water and snacks are available from the base and vehicles for training and rescues. You are welcome to take food and water to keep at home ready for rescues.

There is a locker room in the base (by the lift) for team members who want to keep some of their kit at base. Most people keep their kit handy at home or in the boot of their car - it really depends on where you work, live etc and which works best for you. If you need a locker then see if one is empty and you can then use that; if not speak to your mentor and they will see if they can sort something out for you.

There are also pigeon holes in the control room where team correspondence is left and people leave items such as car keys during rescues.

The current issue clothing includes:

  • Winter waterproof jacket

  • Summer waterproof jacket

  • Team buff

  • Short sleeve base layer

  • Long sleeve base layer

  • Windproof/softshell midlayer

  • Belay jacket

  • Rope gloves

All team issue clothing is marked with the LAMRT logo. You are asked to only wear this clothing when you are on team business. If you leave the team you must return all the clothing and equipment.
